Semsei Docs
Semsei Platform documentation
Step-by-step product documentation for setting up brand context, generating pages with AI, connecting domains, publishing to CMSs, and fixing common issues.
01 · Workspace foundation
Getting started
Start with the right workspace. In Semsei, a workspace groups brand, sources, domains, integrations, and generated pages.
Step by step
- 1
Create your account or open the dashboard if you are already signed in.
- 2
Go to Pages or Domains and create a project if no workspace exists.
- 3
Name the project after the brand or site you want to rank.
- 4
Before generating content, configure brand, search sources, and generation defaults.
Checklist before continuing
- ✓Use one workspace per brand or main domain.
- ✓Review billing limits before bulk generation.
02 · AI context
How to configure your brand manual
Brand setup is essential: Semsei injects it into prompts so generated pages follow voice, links, authorship, colors, and restrictions.
What the AI reads from your brand
Semsei uses name, primary site, logo, palette, fonts, tone, audience, manual, authorial stance, and prohibitions as generation context.
Step by step
- 1
Open Settings and select the correct workspace.
- 2
Complete brand name, tagline, primary website, and logo URL.
- 3
Set colors, link colors, button colors, and typography when the content needs branded rendering.
- 4
Write tone of voice, target audience, authorial stance, and content prohibitions.
- 5
Upload the brand manual and run Analyze manual to extract rules automatically.
- 6
Save and confirm the primary website is the real CTA/internal-link destination.
Checklist before continuing
- ✓The primary website is correct.
- ✓Prohibitions describe what the AI must not assume.
Where users get lost
- !Uploading a manual but not analyzing it.
- !Leaving the brand voice as generic adjectives.
03 · Market references
Search sources and reference sites
Sources tell Semsei which domains to prioritize for niche context, style, and facts.
Step by step
- 1
Open Settings, choose a workspace, and go to Sources.
- 2
Add name, URL, and category.
- 3
Use competitors, official sources, and high-quality industry blogs.
Checklist before continuing
- ✓Each source uses a public https:// URL.
- ✓Only keep sources you actually want Semsei to learn from.
04 · Defaults

Step by step
- 1
Open Pages and choose Generate with AI.
- 2
Write a clear topic with product, audience, country, or search intent.
- 3

- ✓Billing limits allow the requested quantity.
06 · Editorial review
Edit and review pages
Review title, slug, content, FAQ, images, Shopify metadata, and consulted sources before publishing.
Step by step

Open Pages and filter by project or status.
- 2
Edit the page.
- 3
Validate title and slug.

07 · Technical SEO
Connect a domain and Google Search Console

Choose DNS provider.
- 3
Create the DNS record Semsei gives you.
- 4
